Michael joins Barrel from S2G, where he led investments across the food value chain, spanning farm-to-fork, with an emphasis on better-for-you consumer brands fueling a healthier food system. He began his career in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan.

He graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College with a B.A. in Economics.

In his free time, you can find Michael running on the Chicago Lakefront Trail as a 6x marathoner (2x Boston Qualifier). Otherwise, you can find him spending time outdoors with friends and family and rooting for Indiana University Football & Basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Chicago Bears (unless they are playing each other).
